What information will ATLAS.ti support ask me for and where do I find it?
If you have to contact ATLAS.ti support, we may ask you for some information to help diagnose problems. Here are the most common things that we may need and where to find them.
- Your user ID in the license portal.
Your ATLAS.ti User ID follows the format A-XXX-XXX and always begins with the letter “A”. You can find your User ID by logging in to https://my.atlasti.com/licenses and scrolling to the bottom of the page.

- Your License Key and License ID
The license key starts with the letter R, and the license ID starts with the letter L

- Your account / user id in the desktop application.
On Windows
You can find your account information or User ID either from the welcome screen or from within a project:
- Open ATLAS.ti.
- From the welcome screen, select Options, or open a project and go to File > Options > ATLAS.ti.
- Scroll to the License and version information section.
- Click your avatar or initials to view your email address and User ID.

On Mac
You can find your account information or User ID from the welcome screen or from within a project:
- Open ATLAS.ti.
- From the start screen, click your avatar or initials, or open a project and go to ATLAS.ti > License.
- In the pop-up window, click your avatar or initials.
- Your email address and User ID will be displayed.
