How do I change my email address?
You can manage your license and ATLAS.ti account at my.atlasti.com. If you want to change the email associated with your account to a new email that is not currently associated with any ATLAS.ti account, please follow the steps below.
To change your email address:
- Go to Profile & Settings at my.atlasti.com.
- Click on Change Email Address and enter your new email address.
- A verification link will be sent to your new email address. Confirm the change by clicking the link.
Important:
- The new email address must not already be associated with another ATLAS.ti account.
- If you are the owner/administrator of a multi-user license and you change the email address yourself, all users and the license linked to the account will be transferred to the new email automatically, and it will not be necessary to re-invite users.
If you are the administrator of a multi-user license and need to move it to a different, already existing ATLAS.ti account, follow the steps below.
- Request license release
Contact ATLAS.ti Support to request that the multi-user license be released from the current administrator account. Please send the invoice and the license key to licenses@support.atlasti.com
- Activate the license on the new account
Once released, the license can be activated under a different, already created ATLAS.ti account.

Additional considerations
- User invitations must be recreated
- Any users previously invited under the original administrator account will need to be re-invited from the new administrator account after the transfer.
- Ensure projects are backed up. Before making any changes, ensure that all invited users have saved and exported their projects. This prevents data loss during the transition.
