How do I use AI Coding?

ATLAS.ti's AI Coding can perform an inductive analysis of your textual data, automatically applying codes based on the substance of your data. This tool has the potential to save you time in the coding process so that you can perform a richer analysis of your data.

To use AI Coding, select the documents or document groups you want AI Coding to analyze and press "Start Coding." AI Coding will give you a confirmatory dialog with an estimate of the time required to process your data. Toggle the checkbox if you accept the License Agreement and Privacy Policy and press "Confirm."

Keep in mind that you can work on other tasks in ATLAS.ti while AI Coding is processing.

Once the process is complete, you will receive a report of the codes and quotations created, followed by a list of quotations with the newly applied codes. You are free to review these codes and quotations and change or delete them as desired.
