What are your data security policies around ATLAS.ti Windows and Mac? Are you storing my data on your servers, and how secure is that?

By default, ATLAS.ti project data (for the desktop versions) are stored locally on your computer in a project library. You can define the location of the project library, but we do not recommend storing your library in a folder linked to a cloud service for technical and security reasons.

Beginning with version 23, users can store their project data on ATLAS.ti's internal cloud service.

This allows users to work on their projects across multiple devices and with multiple team members seamlessly. For more information, you can refer to this video for ATLAS.ti 23 Windows or ATLAS.ti 23 Mac.

Rest assured that all data stored on our internal cloud service is secure and accessible only to you and to the users with whom you share your project.
